Yeonjun (연준) is a South Korean singer-songwriter and rapper under Big Hit Music. He is a member of the boy group TOMORROW X TOGETHER.
History[]
2014-2019: Pre-debut[]
Yeonjun auditioned for Big Hit Music (previously Big Hit Entertainment) with BTS's song Boy in Luv. Successful, he became a trainee under Big Hit in 2014. His trainee period of 5 years (2014-2019) is the longest amongst all Big Hit artists. This includes his fellow TOMORROW X TOGETHER members. Before joining Big Hit, Yeonjun was a trainee of Cube Entertainment.[3]
2019: Debut with TOMORROW X TOGETHER[]
On January 10, 2019, Yeonjun was introduced as the first member of TOMORROW X TOGETHER with the release of his teaser video on YouTube.[4]
The group debuted on March 4, 2019 with their first mini album The Dream Chapter: STAR.
2020-2021: Live On and first solo collaboration[]
On December 29, 2020, Yeonjun was revealed to appear as cameo role in the final episode of the South Korean series Live On, which aired on January 12, 2021.[5]
On October 4, 2021, Yeonjun was revealed to be featured on the song "Blockbuster" from ENHYPEN's first studio album DIMENSION : DILEMMA, with the collaboration being released on October 12, 2021.[6]
2022: More collaborations, Inkigayo and Privé Alliance[]
On February 23, 2022, Yeonjun alongside his group member Taehyun featured on the American singer Salem Ilese's latest single PS5 which appeared on her latest EP titled Unsponsored Content.[7]
On March 15, 2022, Yeonjun was announced as the new MC of the South Korean music show Inkigayo alongside South Korean actress Roh Jeong-eui and South Korean actor Seo Bum-june. He hosted his first show on April 13, 2022.[8]
On July 8, 2022, Yeonjun was announced as the new ambassador and guest creative director for the Unisex streetwear label Privé Alliance.[9]
2024: Inkigayo, Moncler, First OST, Solo debut[]
On April 11, 2024, it was announced that Yeonjun would be departing as the MC for Inkigayo with his last show to be held on April 12, 2024.[10]
On May 31, 2024, Yeonjun was announced as a global ambassador for the Italian luxury brand Moncler.[11]
On September 1, 2024, Yeonjun released his first OST "Boyfriend" for the Korean drama series Cinderella at 2 AM.[12]. According to TV Report on September 6, Yeonjun will be making a solo debut in September.[13] His solo mixtape titled YEONJUN's Mixtape: GGUM is set to be released on October 29, 2024 with the pre-release track, "GGUM" released on September 19, 2024.[14] On October 10, 2024, it was announced that Yeonjun would feature on a remix version of the girl group KATSEYE's song "Touch", set to be released on October 11, 2024.[15]
2025: Solo endorsements, NO LABELS: PART 01[]
On May 7, 2025, it was annouced that Yeonjun would be the new ambassador for the cosmetics brand Benefit.[16] On June 9, 2025, it was announced that Yeonjun would be the face of the cider brand Somersby in Asia.[17] On October 16, 2025 it was announced that Yeonjun would be releasing his debut mini album NO LABELS: PART 01 on November 7, 2025.[18]
